I searched for a logo that could express the qualities and skills which I’ve purposely developed in order to overcome the adversities of my long-term illness. I chose a leaping gazelle for several reasons. They are native to Africa where I lived as a child. I love the way they can dance even in a storm and the graceful way that they move. To me a leaping gazelle symbolizes some of the characteristics I’ve needed to create a quality, joyful life in the face of a storm. Those characteristics include the ability to create a banquet out of crumbs and to face life’s challenges with as much grace and ease as I can.
